When One Door Closes….The Journey Continues

For several months I have been back and forth on a decision I felt I had to make.  Several weeks ago, I made the decision, and tonight it became final.

I decided to request my rights back from my publisher and tonight I received the reversal of rights document effectively making me an un-published author.

I do have another publisher who has agreed to re-publish my books but it will take a bit of time before that happens.

So until then, my books (Promised Soul and Playing in the Rain) will no longer be available for purchase on-line.

I look forward to this new chapter as I continue my journey.

  1. It must’ve been a difficult decision, but there are times when such decisions must be made. Wishing you the best with your new publisher 🙂 Also, thanks for the follow.

    1. It was extremely difficult. Unfortunately, a lot changed with my previous publisher over the last year and a half or so. So much, that I am not the first nor will I be the last to leave. I am looking forward to working with my new publisher. Thank you for your support and you’re welcome. 🙂

  2. There are a ton of options these days, and the publishing world has changed a lot, so hope whichever option you choose works out better for you. Looking forward to seeing your books back in print, with new covers! 🙂

    1. Thanks, Bobby. My previous publisher was really good but then after she lost her husband a little over a year ago things changed. She just didn’t seem to be into it anymore. I am now trying a publisher that another former FBP author is going with. She’s happy so far so I thought I’d give them a try. I work full time so self-publishing is not an option for me at the moment. We’ll see how this goes. Thank you, as always, for your support.
